Building description

Société House was originally a residential building constructed in 1865 based on Karoly Gerster’s plans, then redesigned multiple times. The building located in the neighbourhood of St. Stephen’s Basilica – in the heart of Budapest – has been a city heritage since 1955. Now, the house has been transformed into an inspiring space on 3500 sqm to host several creative initiatives.
Société is a creative and welcoming community, a dynamic space, a cultural and fashion movement: a breakthrough Central European initiative giving opportunity to the young generation to utilize its creativity and talent in art and fashion. Société House offers club events, interactive contemporary exhibitions, auctions, fashion shows and workshops run by the most innovative and successful minds in their fields - providing programs and inspiration all year round.
